The Pedro Nel Gómez House Museum is a cultural treasure located in the Aranjuez neighborhood of Medellín. It was the residence and workshop of the renowned Antioquian artist Pedro Nel Gómez, and today it functions as a space that preserves his artistic, intellectual and architectural legacy.
The museum houses more than 3,000 works including murals, sculptures, sketches and paintings that reflect the artist's social and political thought. Visitors can tour his former home, explore the permanent and temporary exhibition halls, and appreciate muralism as a way of narrating Colombia's history from a critical and humanist perspective.
In addition to its artistic value, the house preserves the architectural style of the 1940s, surrounded by gardens and spaces that invite contemplation and cultural dialogue. It is an ideal place for those seeking to connect with Colombian art and discover a lesser-known facet of the city.
